Infinix Smart 6 launched with dual rear cameras and 5,000mAh battery


Infinix Smart 6 has been launched. Infinix’s latest budget phone comes in four colors. It sports dual rear cameras and a teardrop style display notch. The Infinix Smart 6 also has a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The handset runs Android 11 (Go edition). Infinix Smart 6 has a Unisoc SoC under the hood, which is different from its predecessor Infinix Smart 5A which launched in August this year with a quad-core MediaTek Helio A20 SoC.

Infinix Smart 6 pricing and availability

Infinix Smart 6 launched in limited markets with a price tag of $ 120 (around Rs. 9,000) for its 2GB + 32GB storage model alone, according to a report from Gizmochina. The official website does not reveal any details on the prices.

The new Infinix Smart 6 is available in Heart of Ocean, Light Sea Green, Polar Black and Starry Purple color options. Infinix has yet to share details of the global availability of the product.

Infinix Smart 6 specifications

The Infinix Smart 6 Dual SIM (Nano) runs on XOS 7.6, based on Android 11 (Go edition). It features 6.6 inch HD + IPS LCD waterdrop type display notch with 720 x 1600 pixel resolution. The screen offers a pixel density of 266 ppi and 16 million colors.

Infinix Smart 6 is powered by a Unisoc SC9863A processor, coupled with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The storage is expandable via a microSD card (up to 512 GB) via a dedicated slot.

The handset has a dual rear camera setup, including an 8-megapixel primary sensor and a 0.08-megapixel secondary sensor. For selfies and video chats, Infinix Smart 6 has a 5 megapixel selfie camera.

Connectivity options on Infinix Smart 6 include a Micro-USB port, 3.5 headphone jack, and Bluetooth. In addition, it has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and supports Face ID. Other on-board sensors include the proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and G-sensor.

Infinix Smart 6 packs a 5,000mAh battery with a 10W charging speed. The battery is designed to provide up to 31 hours of talk time and up to 678 hours of standby time.
