A strange Viola Amherd was up to mischief on Instagram – and even misled her colleagues
In October, the federal government created ten new posts for the Federal Council’s social media presence. Despite the expansion, internal communication doesn’t seem to be working, as a strange Instagram profile by Viola Amherd shows. There was also an “embarrassing” glitch at the WEF recently.
There was a profile on Instagram for several months under the name “violaamherdofficial”. The supposed head of the DDPS was followed by more than 3,000 people, including Federal President Alain Berset. The profile was no longer accessible on Friday afternoon – Instagram may have deleted it.
