From what is known about the case so far, Cotten’s death in December 2018 has been linked to Crohn’s disease – which is a type of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), according to a report from BNJ Crypto News.
Later, investors in Cotten’s Bitcoin exchange QuadrigaCX learned the sad news that they had lost their money because only Cotten had access to the exchange’s cold storage wallet.
Lawyers representing those who lost their money have requested permission to exhume Cotten’s remains in order to examine his identity as well as the detailed cause of death.
The Netflix documentary will describe the events surrounding the scandal under the direction of
Luke Sewell, known for his projects such as No Place to Call Home (2016), Generation Gifted (2018) and I Dream of Variety (2008).
Twitter is in turmoil with this upcoming documentary.

It should be a good one. The largest Canadian crypto exchange QuadrigaCX stole more than $ 250 million in cash and crypto from users, and the CEO was apparently the only one with the private keys to the main wallet. Of course, he “accidentally” died in India shortly thereafter. https://t.co/EqdFewmQSN
