IPL 2023 Retentions: List of Players Who May Not Be Retained by Their Franchises


With the T20 World Cup finally over, cricket fans can now look forward to the upcoming 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) auction which will take place on December 23 in Kochi. Before then, however, all franchises must submit their lists of retained players to the BCCI by November 15th.

All IPL franchises have started making a list of players they would like to keep and can afford to let go.

While the likes of Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni are likely to stay with Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians are reportedly considering letting go of Keiron Pollard.

That said, we’ve decided to put together a list of players who can participate in the IPL 2023 auction pool when released by their respective franchises.
