Isha Ambani Joins Smithsonian National Museum Board of Trustees

Isha Ambani, daughter of Mukesh Ambani, has been appointed to the board of trustees of Smithsonian’s National Museum of Asian Art, part of the Smithsonian Institution. It is the largest museum education and research complex in the world. Isha will serve a 4-year term as one of the youngest members of the Board of Directors. The Council announced the names of two other new members: Carolyn Brehm and Peter Kimmelman.

The Smithsonian National Museum of Asian Art is located on the National Mall in Washington, DC. The 17-member Council of Regents consists of the Chief Justice of the United States, the Vice President of the United States, three members of the United States Senate, three members of the United States House of Representatives, and of nine citizens. They are responsible for the administration of the Smithsonian.
