While Lopez’s Instagram deleted all posts, a trail of her past posts on Facebook, Tik Tok, and Twitter remained. Lopez has nearly 347 million followers on all four social media portals, the majority of which comes from her Instagram.
Lopez’s Nuyorican Productions signed a multi-year first-look deal with Netflix in June 2021 for feature films, TV series and unscripted content, focusing on projects that support diverse female actors, writers and filmmakers. Lopez co-runs Nuyorican Productions with her producing partner Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas.
Lopez scored her best opening for a live-action film at the domestic box office with 2019’s STX’s Stripper Hairdresser hustlers which debuted to $33.1 million, and grossed $105 million in the United States, $157.6 million worldwide. As a recording artist, Lopez has sold over 70 million albums J.Lo became her best-selling album with 3.8 million copies sold in the US and 12 million worldwide. Her Netflix thriller The Mothr by director Niki Caro will premiere in May. Her romantic comedy Shotgun marriage starring Josh Duhamel comes out on Prime Video on January 27.
