JNU 2021 entrance exams start in 114 cities


Entrance exams to Jawaharlal Nehru University for admission began Monday in 114 cities, its VC M Jagadesh Kumar said.

Entrance exams will take place until September 23.

“The JNU Entrance Examination (JNUEE) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) began today across the country in 114 cities and 248 centers. Best wishes to applicants appearing in JNUEE 2021,” Kumar said in a tweet.

For programs requiring viva, the process will take place online.

Earlier, informing about the admissions process, Jawaharlal Nehru University Vice Chancellor Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar said the University had worked closely with the NTA and set the timetable for the exam. JNU entrance to be held on September 20 and 23.

“Once the results are announced, the university will ensure that the admission process proceeds without delay. In all programs, where viva is part of the admission process, it will be conducted in an online mode so that applicants do not have to travel in these difficult times.
