Kanye West’s 2020 Election Loss Could Lead to Another Bizarre Decision

Rapper and fashion designer Kanye West, who changed his name to Ye last year, won’t let his failed 2020 presidential campaign rule him out in 2024.

The “Donda” rapper, who admitted his presidential run after getting about 60,000 votes in 2020, reportedly gave $6.8 million to his own campaign, TBEN News reported.

He told Davis that he “definitely” still has political aspirations and replied with a faith-based message.

I[2020] was not in God’s time. I’m sure lives have been saved, I’m sure God has let me fall into the sword and say it’s not the right time, but he’s a savior,” West said.

West also said he thinks Miami Mayor Francis Suarez (R) would also be a “really good president.”

The rapper has previously teased that he could announce a 2024 presidential run.

West, who admitted the day after the 2020 election, wrote “Kanye 2024” above a photo of himself.

The rapper hasn’t posted a tweet since hinting at a future campaign.
