Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, the highly anticipated horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, finally has a release date. On Monday, the directors of the film announced that “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2” will hit theaters on November 19, 2021. The psychological-comedy thriller from filmmaker Anees Bazmee, aside from Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, also stars Tabu, Rajpal Yadav and Govind Namdev in key roles.
‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ starring Kartik is the sequel to the 2007 Priyadarshan-directed film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ which starred Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and Shiney Ahuja in the lead role.
Taking the official Twitter handle of the T-series, the creators announced the new release date with the movie poster and a photo featuring Bhushan Kumar, Anees Bazmee, Kartik and Murad Khetani. The tweet read: “The edge of the seat psychological comedy thriller, # BhoolBhulaiyaa2 starring @TheAaryanKartik, #Tabu and @advani_kiara will hit theaters on November 19, 2021. The film is written by Farhad Samji and Aakash Kaushik. For those uninformed, the production of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ was affected in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The team was filming in Lucknow days before the national lockdown was announced.
On the job front, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ is Kiara’s second release for 2021 as ‘Shershaah’ starring Sidharth Malhotra is slated for release on July 2.
As for Kartik, the actor was last seen in Imtiaz Ali’s film ‘Love Aaj Kal’ opposite Sara Ali Khan. It has two films awaiting release – Karan Johar’s film “Dostana 2” and “Dhamaka” by Ram Madhvani.
