Large infrastructure shares Larsen & Toubro traded on Tuesday 23 February at over 2.15% on BSE, a day after its construction arm L&T Construction secured two EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) orders to establish over 400 MW of solar power photovoltaic projects in the state of Gujarat. The scope of these packages includes the design, engineering, supply, construction, testing, commissioning, and operation and maintenance of grid-connected solar photovoltaic power plants of approximately 200 MW each. On Tuesday, shares of Larsen and Toubro opened trading at Rs 1,452, touching an intraday high of Rs 1,498.10, and an intraday low of Rs 1,452, so far.
According to a statement shared by Larsen and Toubro, a set of 765 kV dual-circuit transmission lines was received through a project-specific transmission company. This line is associated with the transmission scheme for the evacuation of energy from the solar zones of Rajasthan.
