Share Market News Today | Sensex, Nifty, stock prices LIVE: The domestic stock market benchmarks BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 are expected to open in positive territory on Wednesday, as the trends on SGX Nifty suggest early in the session. The nifty futures were trading 87.50 points or 0.59% higher at 14,801 on the Singapore Stock Exchange. The main indices remained stable to positive in the previous session, after a five-day losing streak. Asian stock markets were trading lower on Wednesday as Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell tried to allay some concerns about rising interest rates and inflation. Australia’s benchmark ASX 200 fell more than half a percent. Japan’s Nikkei 225 fell 0.91 percent while the Topix index fell 1 percent. US stocks ended flat in overnight trading on Wall Street. The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended with a gain of 15 points to 31,537.35, while the broad base S&P 500 rose 0.1% to close at 3,881.37. But the high tech Nasdaq Composite Index fell 0.5% to 13,465.

India’s GDP could turn positive at 1.3% in the third quarter of 2020-2021 as the number of cases declines and government spending begins to rise, according to a report.
