Local qualifiers for the Toyota GAZOO Racing GT Cup begin August 13

While virtual racing doesn’t get the adrenaline pumping as well as its physical counterpart, it’s still a pretty good (and fun!) way for racing fans and gamers to test their skills. Coincidentally, if you’re itching for those kinds of challenges, you might want to consider trying out for the local leg of the fourth Toyota GAZOO Racing GT Cup.

The e-racing event, which starts its open qualifiers on Aug 13is played on Playstation 4 and 5 consoles that use Gran Turismo 7. Everyone is welcome to try the time trial as long as they are a resident of Singapore, but we recommend that you browse the full list of eligibility requirements before trying it.

After the qualifying period has ended, the 24 fastest racers from the pool will then take part in the semi-finals and finals which will be held virtually on Sep 27. This will reduce the number of racers from 24 to 12 and eventually to 3. These three exceptional drivers will then go on to represent Singapore in the regional leg of the tournament.
