Mainland China, Hong Kong Stock Exchanges Closed For Mid-Autumn Festival


The exchanges in mainland China and Hong Kong were closed today, September 12, in observance of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

It’s business as usual in the US, where mainland internet leaders such as Alibaba, Pinduoduo and are listed.

In other countries in Greater China that traded overnight, Taiwan’s weighted price index rose 1.5% to 14,807.43, led by tech companies.

Mainland and Hong Kong markets will reopen tomorrow.
