Mayawati asks Party to celebrate birthday with ‘simplicity’


Mayawati’s birthday is celebrated as “Jankalyankari Day” by the BSP.


Bahujan Samaj (BSP) Party Chairperson Mayawati called on revelers to celebrate her birthday on Friday with simplicity by helping the poor.

The birthday of the former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh on January 15th is observed as ”Jankalyankari Day ” by the BSP.

“As we know that tomorrow, January 15, 2021, is my 65th birthday, which party people should celebrate with ease, following the entire Covid protocol by helping the poor and defenseless people affected by the pandemic such as Jankalyankari Day, ”the BSP supremo said in a Hindi tweet on Thursday.


She also said that the 16th volume of her book A travelogue from My Struggle Ridden Life and the BSP movement, both in Hindi and English will be published on occasion.

BSP employees celebrate Mayawati’s birthday in a grand way every year. However, in light of the coronavirus pandemic, this time supporters will celebrate it by helping the poor and destitute who have been hit hard by the pandemic and the lockdown, party sources have said.
