Xiaomi’s Xiaomi Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro smartphones will be available in 8GB RAM + 128GB storage as well as 8GB RAM + 256GB storage when they launch in India, a tipster said. He also said that the Mi 11 Ultra will be launched in a 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant in the same way it was launched in China. The company has already confirmed that it will launch the Mi 11 series, which includes the Mi 11 Ultra smartphone in India on April 23. Xiaomi also confirmed the India debut of the Mi 11X series on the same day.
The development surrounding the launch of the Mi 11 and Mi 11X series in India has been shared in a Tweeter by tipster Mukul Sharma. However, he didn’t give any information on whether these were the low-end or high-end configurations of smartphones. It is possible that these phones will only launch in these variations, or they could be one of multiple variations. Xiaomi has revealed nothing on this front as well.
Of the Mi 11 series, which includes the Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro, so far Xiaomi has only teased the specs of the top-of-the-line Mi 11 Ultra, and there have been several leaks talking about this phone as well. As we mentioned, the series will launch next week, April 23, and it remains uncertain whether the Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro will launch alongside.
Starting with the Mi 11X series, the company is expected to launch the Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro on the same day. It is believed that the Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro are rebranded as Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro + respectively. The Redmi K40 series was launched in China earlier this year and has not been launched in the country.
Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro specifications
The Mi 11 Ultra has a 6.81-inch AMOLED 2K 2K curved quad main display and a 1.1-inch AMOLED secondary display on the back. Its always-on display on the back would be the same as that of the Mi Smart Band 5. It is powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC and has a rear triple camera setup with the main 50-megapixel Samsung GN2 sensor.
Meanwhile, the Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro smartphones could feature 6.67-inch (1080 x 2400 pixels) AMOLED Full HD + displays with refresh rates of 120 Hz. Mi 11X could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC. 870 while Mi 11X Pro could come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. Mi 11X series could come with triple rear cameras where Mi 11X can carry 48 megapixel main rear sensor and Mi 11X Pro could carry Samsung HM2 main sensor of 108 megapixels.
