WWE has confirmed that Rhea Ripley is heading to the Raw brand as part of the main roster. The company released a video package on Monday’s Raw episode to begin promoting its arrival.
She was officially called up to the main roster last month while working for the Women’s Royal Rumble Match. There had been speculation on which brand she would end up on, but obviously WWE clarified that.
WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley took to Twitter to advocate with WWE regarding Ripley’s next push while he was on the main roster. Foley has been a fan of the former NXT Women’s Champion for a few years and has even talked about why she should have won the Royal Women’s Game this year.
He wrote the following:
“It’s vital that @WWE doesn’t mind when it comes to pushing @RheaRipley_WWE PLEASE. do not allow him to suffer a 50/50 spell. Strap that rocket behind her back and see how far she can fly. “
It is vital that @WWE don’t mess around when it comes to pushing @RheaRipley_WWE
PLEASE do not allow him to suffer a 50/50 spell.
Strap that rocket behind her back and see how far she can fly. https://t.co/3lFg147YJ7
