Naughty Boy’s family banned his mother with dementia from watching Tuesday night’s episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.
The producer, 36, was seen getting emotional and arguing as he left the castle, prompting his niece Aisha to protect Zahida, 66, from distress.
Discussing his absence, Aisha told The Sun, “Looking at him, she will become confused, especially if she had seen him go to trial, she would have been very, very distressed.”

Detailing how Zahida is doing, she continued, “During the day she always thinks to herself, ‘Where is he? Is he coming home? and we have to keep reminding her that no, he’s on the show and she’ll see him on TV …
“Most evenings she’ll clap, ‘He’s my son’ and she’ll talk on TV, bless her.”
Naughty Boy, real name Shahid Khan, surprised fans earlier this week when he threatened to quit the show when the camps were split.
He was chosen to give a tryout by the stars in the main camp, believing he was chosen because he was the “weakest link” in The Clink.
Upset: The music producer, 36, got angry and admitted his time at the castle could be over, prompting his niece Aisha to protect Zahida, 66, from distress
Aisha admitted she had been “worried” about her mental state prior to her appearance in the ITV frontrunner due to the two-week quarantine before entering.
In moving scenes however, Naughty Boy befriended a robin – lovingly named Sunny, who saved the day by sharing a special moment with Naughty Boy, who was very happy to see him.
Naughty Boy decided to consult Sunny on his dilemma as he spoke about his issues with the Little Bird. Arlene agreed, saying, “Let Sunny tell you what to do.”
Close Connection: In the emotional scenes however, Naughty Boy befriended a robin – lovingly named Sunny, who saved the day by sharing a special moment with Naughty Boy, who was very happy to see him
Naughty Boy confessed to David and Arlene that he felt that Sunny was trying to change his mind and that he had successfully convinced him to stay in the abandoned castle.
And, just as the couple had come to a resolution, Richard read a parchment telling his campmates that their time at The Clink was over.
Following the news that it was now time to join the other camp, Naughty Boy said, “I’m going to the main camp to see how I feel when I get there.”
Feeling sad: he told his campmates, “I think my time here is over. I had a feeling earlier and I was thinking about mom and obviously I love you guys’
He added: “I feel great, I feel great, I’m so lucky to have these guys.”
The affectionately named Sunny the Robin, provided a silver lining when Naughty Boy encountered the bird that first morning in The Clink.
Speaking in The Telegraph, he said: “I was even wondering, should I be here? A robin has arrived. I felt something. This robin is here to see me. We have cooled down a bit.
“Yeah, I thought Robin came up with a message and this whole message is that everything will be fine.”
Before entering the jungle, Naughty Boy detailed the battles for his mother’s health, as he said: “I think it’s important for people like me to make this aware.
“Dementia UK needs constant funding, and I will miss Mom the most while I am at the castle. I live with mom and used to see her all the time.
He revealed earlier this year that he had retired from music to spend more time with his mother and act as a caregiver.
He said: “Mum is not doing very well and it is going to be difficult for me to be away. But that said, I think the break will be good for both of us.
