New DelhiUnion Minister Bhupender Yadav on Tuesday criticized the Ashok Gehlot-led government of Rajasthan, saying there is no governance in the state.
Yadav spoke at News18 India’s ‘Amrit Ratna’ event.
“Whatever happened in Udaipur is reprehensible… Not just this incident, I have been watching Rajasthan closely for the past four years. There is no governance there. There is no fear of law and order,” said Yadav when asked about the murder of tailor Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur.
On recent actions against opposition leaders by the Enforcement Directorate, Yadav said: “We believe in the rule of law, we have a transparent government. If someone has done wrong things, they will fear ED.”
At the event, Bachendri Pal was honored with the ‘Amrit Ratna Samman’.
“Honored to present the Amrit Ratna Prize to Bachendri Pal ji, the first Indian woman to reach the summit of Mount Everest, at an event hosted by News18 Group,” Yadav tweeted.
