ODI United Arab Emirates-Ireland Thursday after COVID-19 cases


Dubai: The One-Day International between the United Arab Emirates and Ireland, scheduled for Thursday in Abu Dhabi, has been suspended.

The Emirates Cricket Board confirmed on Wednesday that although there are no new cases of COVID-19, the decision has been made to suspend the clash as members of the UAE team remain in quarantine as the authorities ordered on January 11.

The decision was supported by Cricket Ireland. Discussions continue regarding the rescheduling of matches.
