Oppo Reno 5F with four rear cameras, 30W fast charging to launch on March 22


Oppo Reno 5F has been teased by the company on its website in Kenya. The phone appears to have a different design for the back compared to other Oppo Reno 5 series phones – Oppo Reno 5, Oppo Reno 5 Pro, and Oppo Reno 5 Pro +. Up front, the Oppo Reno 5F has a cutout for the selfie camera and a relatively thick chin. The company also teased some of the phone’s specs, as well as the date of the announcement and what appears to be the sale date.

Oppo’s website in Kenya has a dedicated page for an upcoming new member of the Oppo Reno 5 line called Oppo Reno 5F. It looks like the phone will be available on March 22 according to the website, but that may actually be the date of the official announcement, as there is a timer on the website that counts down to March 26, which may be the date the phone goes on sale in the country.

The web page also shows some of the specifications of the Oppo Reno 5F. The phone will have a quad rear camera setup which is housed in a rectangular camera module. This focus is different from other Oppo Reno 5 series phones. The Oppo Reno 5F is perhaps a downsized version of the Oppo Reno 5 4G launched in China at the end of December 2020. It has the same battery capacity but comes with a slower charge speed compared to the fast charge of 50 W on the Oppo Reno 5 4G.
