Paris Hilton shocked fans on Tuesday when she revealed she secretly welcomed a child, a baby boy, with husband Carter Reum via surrogate.
The socialite, 41, made the announcement via Instagram, with a photo of the new mom clinging to her baby’s hand.
“You’ve been loved beyond words,” Hilton wrote, followed by a blue heart emoji.

“It’s always been my dream to be a mom and I’m so glad that Carter and I found each other,” Hilton said in a statement to PEOPLE.
“We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy.”
She did not provide further details about the birth.
Although this is Hilton’s first child, Reum already shares a nine-year-old daughter with reality star Laura Bellizzi.
Just a month ago, the Simple Life star shared that she and her husband had embarked on an IVF journey during the height of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.
She told PEOPLE that they had “all the eggs stocked and ready.”
The couple got married in November 2021.
