Ravindra Jadeja, considered by many to be India’s best defender, produced two magical moments on the pitch to get rid of dangerous KL Rahul and Chris Gayle in Game 8 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 at Wankhede Stadium on Friday . The all-rounder first fired the Punjab Kings skipper with a brilliant direct hit, then made a sensational dive to get rid of Chris Gayle. As KL Rahul left for five points, Gayle could only manage 10 points before Jadeja’s outburst sent him racing Deepak Chahar’s bowling alley.

Jadeja pulled off a sensational take to fire Chris Gayle
Sir Jadeja has mastered the art of fielding. His team can always count on him to catch a ball. He also showed his skills on the pitch. Without a doubt, he is one of the best voltigeurs

Watching Jadeja complete two brilliant layoffs without even bowling, fans were hugely impressed and they flocked to social media to praise her electrical commissioning.
Reacting to Jadeja’s superb field effort, former England skipper Michael Vaughan described him as “the greatest outfield player in Indian history”.

Drawing inspiration from her own roster, Jadeja then cast a tidy spell, conceding just 19 points in her four overs. He also took a good deep catch to dismiss Punjab Kings top scorer Shahrukh Khan, who fought a lone battle and scored 47 balls on 36 balls, helping his team cross the triple-figure mark.
