PM Modi will virtually attend the 8th Convocation of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University in Gandhinagar on Saturday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will honor the eighth convocation of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University in Gandhinagar on Saturday by videoconference.

“At 11 am tomorrow, November 21, I will address the PDPU Convocation, Gandhinagar. I will also inaugurate various centers that will stimulate research, innovation and learning at the PDPU,” Prime Minister Modi said in a tweet on Friday.

“At this ceremony, around 2,600 students would receive their respective diplomas / degrees,” the prime minister’s office said in a statement.

During the convocation, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of the “45 MW plant for the production of monocrystalline solar photovoltaic panels” and the “center of excellence on water technology”.

The convocation will also see the Prime Minister inaugurate the “Innovation and Incubation Center – Incubation of Technology Companies”, “Translational Research Center” and “Sports Complex” at Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University.
