PM security breach: Gujarat Police has registered a case and arrested three people for flying a drone in ‘No Drone Flying Zone’ during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public meeting in Bavla, Gujarat on Thursday.
A drone was spotted in the No Drone Flying Zone and was shot down by security personnel. The drone was later examined by a bomb disposal team, who found it had been used for unauthorized video recording. A case has been registered under Section 128 of the IPC.
Three people – Nikul Rameshbhai Parmar, Rakesh Kalubhai Bharvad and Rajeshkumar Mangilal Prajapati – were arrested for shooting video with a drone and violating the ‘no drone fly zone’ during Prime Minister Modi’s visit, ANI reported citing police from Ahmedabad.

During the interrogation of the three arrested, the police discovered that they had been ordered by the BJP itself to make videography. It was also revealed that the three individuals were only involved in videography and had not previously been involved in any crime.
