Police resume search for Melbourne’s missing mother Ju ‘Kelly’ Zhang

Police returned to the bush in northeast Melbourne on Monday as they searched for Epping’s mother, Ju “Kelly” Zhang, who was missing.

Detectives are looking for parks around Darebin Creek near Sheehan Road in West Heidelberg, Victoria police said in a statement.

This follows an anonymous call to police last Thursday morning in which details were provided of Ms. Zhang’s location.

Police urge this person to reconnect to provide more information.

Ms. Zhang was last seen at her home in Epping, about 12 miles north of the CBD, in the early evening of February 1.

She is believed to have been wearing a pink nightgown and slippers when she disappeared.

A 35-year-old Doncaster man has been charged with his murder.

Joon Seong Tan has been remanded in custody and will face trial again in July.
