Police are appealing for footage of the New Year’s riots in Whangamatā, as an investigation into the incident continues.
They arrested at least 22 people after the riots, which involved around 1,000 people, including many young people who threw bottles and damaged property.
Police said they were looking for videos or photos that may represent anyone involved.
The arrests related to a range of offenses, including disturbances, assaults and the illegal presence of property.
Police said some of those involved were only 14 years old and people were injured from bottles thrown into the crowd.
