Rajinikanth donated Rs 50 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

Actor Rajinikanth met Chief Minister MK Stalin on Monday and donated 50 lakhs to the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu’s Relief Fund as the state battles the second wave of coronavirus.

He also called on the population to follow the guidelines issued by the government in view of COVID-19.

“To eradicate the crown, I donated 50 lakhs to the Tamil Nadu CM Relief Fund. People should follow whatever rules and regulations the government gives to overcome the crown,” Rajinikanth said.

This follows MP Stalin’s call for people to donate money to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to fight the second wave of COVID-19.

Earlier on Sunday, the Tamil Nadu government said it had formed a thirteen-member legislative advisory committee, led by Chief Minister MK Stalin and made up of members of the Legislative Assembly to tackle the COVID-pandemic. 19.
