Rep. Madison Cawthorn’s ‘Biggest Lie’ question backfires


Rep. Madison Cawthorn (RN.C.) posted a question on Twitter and his detractors were ready with a few responses.

They almost certainly weren’t the ones he had in mind.

“What’s the biggest lie a politician has ever told?” Cawthorn asked as he attempted to slam President Joe Biden. But he quickly remembered some of his own whoppers, like his campaign ads which boasted that he had been appointed to the United States Naval Academy and planned to serve in the Navy until then. a car accident leaves him in a wheelchair.

Cawthorn, who has been criticized for his “bucket list” of photos from Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler’s vacation retreat, also spoke at the January 6 rally that preceded the deadly attack on the US Capitol. He described the rioters arrested in connection with the violence as “political prisoners”.
