Prediction
There is no denying that England is currently dominant in limited overs cricket. They won the most recent tournament in Australia, becoming only the second side, after the West Indies, to win the T20 World Cup Championship twice. They are the reigning ODI and T20 World Champions.
When England visit India for the championship game in October this year, they will now look to defend their ODI World Cup victory.

“There’s always pressure around World Cups and major tournaments”: Joe Root
In an exclusive interview, Joe Root told The Bharat Express News.com that there is always pressure during World Cups and major competitions.
“There is always a lot of pressure around World Cups and major tournaments. That’s part of it. It doesn’t matter if you’ve won everything in the past four years. It’s about how you approach the occasion. We just make sure we’re ready, check all the boxes and deliver on those terms. Everyone is having a great year” said Joe Root.

“We probably have more experience now than we did four years ago. There are still a number of boys who have played in Indian conditions. It’s great to have had that experience. Guys who played a lot of cricket under those conditions (in India) would be crucial” Joe Root said in an interview with The Bharat Express News.com

“England don’t want to complicate things. All we do is trust ourselves, build confidence and make sure we are as prepared as possible to peak at the right time and at the right times.” Joe Root added.
England are the current T20 World Cup champions, beating Pakistan in the final in 2022 to claim their second title.
