His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), confirmed that the integrated housing plan, which came under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, was launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He added: “At Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, we are working within the framework of the vision and directives of our wise leadership to provide an advanced and integrated infrastructure for electricity and water to meet the increasing demand and keep pace with Dubai’s ambitious urban and economic plans through planning processes based on the latest tools for future foresight in order to achieve the objectives of the “Dubai Urban Plan 2040” that Dubai is the best city to live and live by providing the best facilities for the best city in the world.
