Samsung Galaxy F41 gets 3.1 UI with March 2021 security patch: report

The Samsung Galaxy F41 has started receiving the One UI 3.1 update in India shared by a Samsung community usage or forum. The phone launched in October of last year with Android 10 and was updated to One UI 3.0 based on Android 11 in January of this year. Now, Samsung Galaxy F41 users have started receiving another major firmware update which also updates the Android security patch until March 2021. The update also brings improvements to the camera, performance. and the stability of the device, etc.

A User Interface Update 3.1 for Samsung Galaxy F41 comes with firmware version F415FXXU1BUC8, shared by a user on the Samsung Community Forums. The update is 1034MB and brings the March 2021 Android security patch. The Samsung Galaxy F41 gets camera performance improvements, overall device performance improvements and security enhancements with the latter update. It also brings One UI 3.1 features and improvements.

The Samsung Galaxy F41 launched last year with Android 10 and was updated to One UI 3.0 based on Android 11 at the end of January this year. The phone received the January 2021 security patch with an updated UI design, improved lock screen, widgets, and more. One UI 3.1 is an iterative update to One UI 3.0 with minor improvements.

If you haven’t received a notification for the update on your Galaxy F41, go to Settings> System Updates> Check for System Updates and if you see the update select Download Now and then Install the update.

Samsung has been very active in releasing the latest updates for its phones. The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite recently received the April 2021 Android security patch with its latest update. The Galaxy M21 reportedly received its Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update earlier this month. Before that, the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A21 were updated to Android 11 with One UI 3.1 and One UI 3.0 respectively.
