Saraya announced on Wednesday at AEW Dynamite that she is medically cleared to wrestle and will face Britt Bakker in her first match since December 2017 at AEW Full Gear later this month.
After the show, the former Paige took to Twitter to reveal a letter from her doctor confirming she’s been given permission to wrestle without restrictions. It says, “To whom it may concern, the patient may struggle without restrictions.”
dr. Robert Watkins Jr., an orthopedic surgeon at Watkins Spine in Marina Del Rey, California, signed the letter.
Saraya captioned the post with, “Printed and framed this.” She asked fans for names for her moves: “I need new names for my moves… sh**. Okay, maybe ‘knight’ related names?”

Saraya later applauded AEW for having three women’s matches on the Full Gear map, including her fight, AEW Interim Women’s World Champion Toni Storm vs. Jamie Hayter, and AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill vs. Nyla Rose.
Saraya also responded to criticism of the doctor’s note by writing, “Omg. The address. Number. Dr’s name is on it. I asked for that note. So I can frame it and post it and he was just about enough to do it. The 6 page dictation he wrote with a full exposition, analysis and conclusion was great. I just wanted to see that one sentence. For me. [shushing face emoji]”
