Senator Abba Moro reacts as gunmen kill policeman and motorcyclist in Benue – TBEN


Comrade Abba Moro, the senator representing the South Benue Senate District, condemned the killing of a policeman and a motorcyclist by gunmen in the Ado local government area on Wednesday.

Senator Moro called the unprovoked attack barbaric, inhumane and cowardly, saying the perpetrators of the heinous crime must be brought to justice.

The lawmaker therefore urged his constituents to be vigilant and vigilant, adding that they should not hesitate to report strange and suspicious faces to security agents.

At the same time, DSP Catherine Anene, public relations manager of the State Police (PPRO), told NAN in Makurdi on Thursday that the Force was still investigating the motive for the attack.

Anene said: “They went out for a routine patrol on Wednesday; immediately they went out, they were ambushed by armed strangers. A passing motorcyclist was also hit. Both died before they could be taken to hospital.
