Indian equity benchmarks are expected to set a new high in trading today, where the S&P BSE Sensex is expected to hit 60,000 for the first time and Nifty is expected to open around an all-time high of 17,850 , as indicated by the Nifty futures contracts traded on the Singapore Stock Exchange. Singapore Stock Exchange Nifty futures, also known as SGX Nifty futures, rose 20 points to 17,849 amid positive signs from other Asian markets. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng rose 0.25%, Taiwan Weighted rose 0.94% while South Korea’s KOSPI traded on a flat note.
