SEPTA receives funding to switch to all zero-emission vehicles

PHILADELPHIA (TBEN) – SEPTA is getting closer and closer to a fleet that consists entirely of zero-emission vehicles. Funding was announced Tuesday morning for the transport authority to improve the loading capacity of buses at its facilities.

The $23 million project comes from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

It will also help to upgrade SEPTA’s buses, making them a more reliable form of transport.
