Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi collapsed while bench pressing, doctors tried to resuscitate him for 45 minutes; says Simple Kaul


On Friday, November 11, popular television actor Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi collapsed while working out at his gym and was pronounced dead when rushed to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. Now his friend and co-star of Ziddi Dil Maane Na, Simple Kaul, has revealed that the doctors tried to resuscitate the deceased actor for 45 minutes, but were unsuccessful.

Speaking to The Bharat Express News, Simple said: “He was in the gym and working out. Before that he felt unwell and said to one of his friends ‘I don’t want to train’ but he forced himself. He spoke to the instructor too, and the instructor told him to take it easy. He was bench pressing and he collapsed. They took his body to KokilaBen hospital and tried to resuscitate him for 45 minutes. They were unable to resuscitate.”

Talking about Siddhaanth’s health, the actress of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah said: “I think it is important that people listen to their bodies. He was a nice person and he was a healthy guy, people took tips from him” and she even stated that his trainers were “interrogated” in the hospital.

Siddhaanth’s television appearances include Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Zameen Se Aassman Tak, Sinndoor Tere Naam Ka, Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar and Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti to name a few. He made his debut by playing a cameo role on the hit TV show Kkusum.
