“Sidhu is a national threat, tragedy”: former Punjab CM Amarinder Singh announces having filed a candidate against him

A few days after resigning from the post of Chief Minister of the Punjab, Captain Amarinder Singh began to show his rebellious tone. The former CM has announced that he will present his candidate against Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu in the next parliamentary elections. He said Sidhu will not be allowed to become chief minister under any circumstances as he poses a great threat to the country.

Captain Amarinder Singh said Sidhu is not only a threat to Punjab, but to the whole country. He revealed he wanted to leave the chief minister’s chair three weeks ago, but Congress President Sonia Gandhi wouldn’t let him. Laughing at Sidhu’s interference in the government led by Charanjit Singh Channi, the Singh said he had become the Super CM. Along with that, he also targeted KC Venugopal, Ajay Maken and Surjewala.

Amarinder Singh has targeted not only Sidhu but also the new Chief Minister of Punjab Charanjit Channi. He said Channi had no experience in running the Interior Ministry, which is quite worrying as the Punjab shares a 600 km border with neighboring Pakistan. The situation has been getting serious in recent years, he said.

At the same time, he described Sidhu as a “dramabaaz” and said that the Rahul-Priyanka had no experience yet and that they were being misled by the advisers.

Expressing his strength, Amarinder said that I am a soldier and I know how to work. He said he’s reached the Legislature seven times and Parliament twice, so there must be some good. Questioning the decision of the high command, Amarinder said that in our religion everyone is seen with an equal eye and one should not judge by looking at his caste, but should see his abilities. His gesture was towards the first CM of Punjab, Charanjit Channi.
