Singapore’s Pavilion Energy signs 6-year LNG supply agreement with Chevron

SINGAPORE: Pavilion Energy Trading & Supply of Singapore announced on Monday (February 22) that it has signed a six-year sale and purchase agreement with Chevron Corp for approximately 0.5 million tonnes per year of LNG from 2023.

Pavilion Energy, owned by Singaporean public investment firm Temasek Holdings, has entered into an agreement with Chevron’s Singapore branch.

Each cargo delivered to Singapore under the deal will be accompanied by a statement of its measured greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from the wellhead to the port of discharge, Pavilion Energy said in a statement.

The deal follows a 10-year deal Pavilion Energy signed with Qatar in November, which also included a GHG statement for every cargo delivered to Singapore.
