Sony Xperia Ace 2 allegedly rendered cases hinting at design

The design of the Sony Xperia Ace 2 may have been disclosed via renders of suspected cases. The phone is said to be the successor to the Xperia Ace from 2019 – a compact mid-range offering. The rendering of the Xperia Ace 2 case shows a dual rear camera setup, but the selfie shooter cannot be clearly seen. The phone looks a bit thick and sports a 3.5mm headphone jack at the top. So far, Sony has not shared any information about the Xperia Ace 2 or its release date, so this information should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Known tipster Abhishek Yadav sharing a few cases reflect what is said to be the Sony Xperia Ace 2 and they allude to the design of the phone. From the renderings, it can be seen sporting a dual rear camera setup, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, and a dedicated shutter release button. The selfie camera can’t be seen clearly, so it’s hard to say whether the Xperia Ace 2 will have a hole punch, notch, or top bezel, but the latter two seem more likely.
