GrabFood rider chooses friend’s order and receives S$10 tip

SINGAPORE: A woman ordering food saw a familiar face at her doorstep after her boyfriend picked up her order. A TikTok video posted by @kha1zuran showed the online community what it would be like if they had an unlikely encounter with a loved one, such as a delivery boy ordering food from his girlfriend.

“Point-of-view: Your girlfriend orders GrabFood and you’re the rider,” the viral video’s caption reads. The video showed the rider picking up the food, while a screenshot of the order from his girlfriend’s phone indicated he was the selected rider.

SINGAPORE: A woman expressed disappointment on social media after she and her family went to Kranji from Pasir Ris and Tampines to celebrate their mother’s birthday, only to find that 555 Halal Galore had closed.

Ms. Sharifah Aishah Mustika wrote about their “very unpleasant and unacceptable experience” on Facebook on Jan. 15 and posted a video about it on TikTok, where it has since been viewed more than 51,000 times.

SINGAPORE: A man with a number of criminal offenses to his credit had the nerve to ask for leeway on Wednesday (Jan. 18).

SINGAPORE: A friend, feeling that her boyfriend had been stringing her on for six years with no intention of marrying her, took to social media and asked others for advice.

In an anonymous post on the popular confession page SGWhispers, the friend wrote that she met her boyfriend in her late 20s, and was now in her mid-30s.

The PAP Sengkang team is present and handing out mandarin oranges for the festive period of Chinese New Year

The GRC team of the People’s Action Party Sengkang led by a former MP Lam Pin Min along with Ling Weihong, Assoc Prof Dr. Elmie Nekmat and Theodora Lai went through the constituency to greet residents and distribute mandarin oranges for the festive period of Chinese New Year.

Dressed in their traditional all-white clothing, Lam was joined by their fellow volunteers as they distributed the mandarin oranges to residents. Lam is the only remaining member from the 2020 general election, while the other three are new faces announced in March 2022, replacing Ng Chee Meng, Amrin Amin and Raymond Lye.
