Chennai Super Kings (CSK) cricketer Suresh Raina posted a cute message for his daughter Gracia on Saturday on her fifth birthday. Calling it her “little pumpkin”, Raina tweeted: “You have brightened our world with so much joy, hope and happiness.” The cricketer also attached a short video with the message. The two-minute clip begins with a beautiful photo of Raina with her daughter Gracia and son Rio. It also includes several snapshots of the five-year-old’s birthday celebrations. He also wrote: “We wish you a life full of possibilities, happiness and peace”.

The video has seen over a lakh of views and the post has garnered over 13,000 likes and been retweeted over 820 times on the microblogging site since the morning.

Indian drummer Wriddhiman Saha, a test wicket keeper, also wished Gracia her birthday in the comments section. “Happy birthday my dear,” he wrote.

“Congratulations and happy birthday to the little one,” wrote Indian fashion designer Navdeep Saini.

“Happy birthday my dear,” wrote Indian shuttle ace Jwala Gutta.

Suresh Raina was last seen in action for CSK during the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021), before the flagship event was postponed after the emergence of several cases of COVID-19 in the inside the bio-bubble. Raina has scored 123 points in seven games for the three-time IPL champions with an average of 24.60 and a strike rate of 126.80.

In total, Raina has played 200 matches in the IPL and amassed 5,491 races, with 39 half-centuries and a century to her name.

When the IPL was postponed indefinitely, CSK led by MS Dhoni finished second in the IPL points table with five wins in seven games.
