Suryakumar Yadav was in superb form in calendar year 2022. The scintillating right-handed hitter scored 1164 runs with a batting frequency of 187.43 while hitting 9 half centuries and 2 centuries. The batter hit the bowlers all over the park.

Suryakumar Yadav has become an inseparable part of the team. The batter recently knocked off Lankan bowlers, where the opposition was clueless. The 32-year-old batsman is said to regret not being able to help the Indian cricket team win the T20 World Cup as India lost to England in the semi-final.

Suryakumar Yadav at ICC Men’s T20I Cricketer Of The Year Award

BCCI posted a video of Suryakumar Yadav making some interesting comments about the award. “Thank you so much ICC for naming me ICC Men’s T20I Cricketer of the Year. It’s a great feeling and 2022 has been great for me from a personal point of view I really enjoyed the few strokes I played in that year and if I had to pick one that was really close to me it would be my first hundred for the country, because the first hundred is always special and hopefully many more hits to come,” Suryakumar Yadav said.

Tahlia McGrath ICC Women’s T20 Cricketer of the Year

Australia women’s cricket team Tahlia McGrath won the ICC Women’s T20 Cricketer of the Year award. The all-rounder pipped Smriti Mandhana, because last year Smriti had won the prize. Tahlia has been an inseparable part of the Australian cricket team.

Tahlia McGrath scored 435 runs in 16 matches at an average of 62.14 and took 13 scalps. The all-rounder played a vital role in the 2022 Commonwealth Games where Aussies won the championship. In the recently concluded India T20I series, Tahlia was quite ruthless in her approach.
