Swara Bhasker on Sunday evening responded to actor Kangana Ranaut in his response to MLA Sukhdev Panse and said the actor made matters worse with his response by disparaging others like Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone. Panse had called Kangana “nachne gaane waali” (the one who dances and sings) and although Swara said the MP was wrong, she pointed out that Kangana made matters worse with his response by putting others down.
Taking to her verified Twitter account, Swara wrote, “Sukhdev Panse said a stupid, sexist and totally reprehensible thing … Kangana … you made it worse!”
Swara’s response was in a retweet of Kangana’s response to Panse, in which the actor wrote: “Whoever that fool is, he knows I’m neither Deepika Katrina nor Alia … I’m the only one in refused to do the item numbers, refused to make great hero movies (Khan / Kumar) that made whole Bullywoodiya gang men and women against me. I am a Rajput woman I do not shake a * * I’m breaking my bones. “
For those not informed, it was Friday that the MP for Multai Panse had nicknamed Kangana “nachne gaane waali”. He said: “We have the right to protest peacefully in a democracy. A ‘nachne gaane waali’ woman like Kangana has hurt our farmers. Congress was protesting this and the police charged them with lathi. The police should not become a puppet. Governments come and go. ”
Sukhdev was a former minister of the state. Kangana is a strong supporter of PM Modi’s agricultural laws. Kangana had an ongoing argument on Twitter with Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh, who had stood with farmers as they protested against farm laws.
As for Kangana and Swara, the actresses clashed in a huge way when Kangana dubbed her and Taapsee Pannu as “ B-grade actresses ” in early 2020.
At the time, in response to Kangana, Swara said: “In my head, B represents the best. So, I’m whatever you want to call me. Sometimes what people say reflects their mentality more than the people they are talking about. And I think that’s what happened with the aliens and the B-level actor debate, it’s really sad. I think people were revealing their own mentality rather than saying anything about me or Taapsee or whoever it was. “
