She told her followers: “I never leave anything of value in my car, so my only consolation is that the jerk / thief who decided to smash the rear window will be very disappointed with his old school uniform.”

The looting of the car was not Tamara’s first encounter with thieves, as she had previously seen armed police foil a burglary at her neighbor’s mansion in Belgravia in 2015.

The TV personality heard “super, super loud” bangs as officers threw smoke grenades to neutralize a gang of four suspected burglars after watching an apartment for days.

Police clad in bulletproof vests broke into the multi-million pound house in Eaton Place and arrested the four suspects after they allegedly broke into the house.

Tamara is married to Giorgio Veroni and is a mother to Vivi, 12, and Vero, six, with an adult daughter from a previous relationship called Anouska, 33.

“It wasn’t like I was stuck in a horrible environment and fighting for myself. For my mother it was a fantastic time because she had this little baby, even though she was a grandmother she had a new life.

She continued: “Tara and I have done so many jobs together, we were just booked together like a lot of other girls, the problem with Tara is that we always had a baby.

“I’ve always had a strong family behind me, that they could control me all the time is a little trickier. We always had lunch on Sunday. We just had to function ”.
