TBEN: Arsenal’s favorite summer signing is Man Utd target; Sancho backup plan ready to go | TEAM talk

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has identified his ideal defensive signing, while Manchester United have a back-up plan if they fail to strike a deal with Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho, all in the headlines.

Mikel Arteta’s perfect defensive signing this summer is Jules Kounde, according to Athleticism.

Arteta is looking for a new defender following the departure of David Luiz.

Sevilla center-back Jules Kounde, who is also on Manchester United’s wanted list, is said to be on the Gunners’ radar.

However, Arsenal are struggling to bring the 22-year-old to the Emirates without Champions League football.

Koundé also has a £ 69million release clause in his contract, which could also prevent Arsenal from taking an approach for the France international seriously.

However, the report claims Sevilla are said to be open to offers for the player. Whether Arsenal have the financial means to compete for Kounde is open to debate.
