Team Europe and Team World ready for Laver Cup in Boston | ATP circuit

Team Europe and Team World meet on Wednesday in front of the Boston skyline at LoPresti Park ahead of the Laver Cup.

The action will start on Friday at the TD Garden

Will 2021 be the year Team World defeats Team Europe in the Laver Cup?

The two teams examined each other closely on Wednesday when they gathered for group portraits in front of the Boston skyline at LoPresti Park.

Team Europe brings six of the top 10 players in the FedEx ATP rankings to Boston, led by three former Nitto ATP Finals champions: recent US Open winner Daniil Medvedev, world No.3 Stefanos Tsitsipas and gold medalist at the Tokyo Olympics Alexander Zverev. Russian Andrey Rublev, Italian Matteo Berrettini and Norwegian Casper Ruud join Medvedev to make their Laver Cup debut.

Team World is hungry for its first overall victory in the fourth edition of the event. Laver Cup veterans John Isner of the United States, Australia’s Nick Kyrgios, Argentina’s Diego Schwartzman and Canada’s Denis Shapovalov will try to lead the charge alongside world No.11 Felix Auger-Aliassime and American Reilly.
