Texas continues its campaign to draw the attention of the federal government as more illegal migrants reach the nation’s capital by bus.

The last busload of migrants from Texas arrived in DC late Tuesday night. It is not known how many buses made the trip, but the Washington, DC government has reported at least 5,100 migrants.

Washington, DC, Mayor Muriel Bowser, who has advocated accepting migrants illegally entering the country as a human rights issue, called for the indefinite activation of the District of Columbia National Guard to assist in what she termed a “humanitarian crisis.” .

Texas Governor Greg Abbott on Tuesday reprimanded the Biden administration for “Hannity” for refusing to address the ongoing border crisis, saying, “Believe me, more buses are coming their way right now. But this just shows the hypocrisy of these liberal leaders in the Northeast who think that that border crisis created by Joe Biden, that’s fine, as long as it’s Texas that gets involved.”

“But as soon as they face the real confidence of the crisis, they come up and call in the National Guard, as you indicate that they are only dealing with a small part of what we had to deal with every day. Abbott continued. “We will continue to send those buses there until they fully understand and most importantly – until the Biden government does its job of enforcing the laws regarding the border.”
