Indian men’s doubles from Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty qualified for the second round of the current Thailand Open on Wednesday. India’s world number 10 pair outclassed South Korean pair Kim Gi Jung and Lee Yong Dae 19-21, 21-16, 21-14 in the first round of the tournament. After losing a hard-fought opener, the Indian duo pulled out all the shots and took three straight points in the opening minutes of the second game. Shetty and Reddy held the lead throughout the game and clinched it 21-16.
