The Block Finale WINS the ratings war with 1.8 million viewers – as it becomes the most watched entertainment program of 2020

The Final Block was named the most watched entertainment program of 2020.

A whopping 1.84 million subway viewers tuned in on Sunday night as Queensland couple Jimmy and Tam Wilkins were crowned this season’s winner and received the cash prize of $ 100,000, on top of his $ 966,000 of income.

The renovation show Channel Nine also attracted significant participation in the regions, attracting a total of 590,000 viewers.

The program easily became the top-tier Sunday night show, despite being the second-lowest final in the series’ 16-year history.

The Block’s main competitor was Channel Seven’s Beat The Chasers, but the program only managed to squeeze 583,000 subway viewers.

The five Bloc couples put their homes up for auction in Sunday’s episode.

They were understandably ecstatic, Tam remarking after the tender, “Oh my God, can you believe that just happened?”
