CM Punk and the Young Bucks had a backstage altercation after the AEW All Out media scrum on Sunday night.
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio today, Bryan Alvarez reported that there was “an altercation” between the two sides following Punk’s comments during the scrum.
Shortly after Punk left the stage, a guard was seen running from the scrum. AEW President Tony Khan was not made aware of the situation until after the scrum. Dave Meltzer described the situation as “a melee”.
As previously reported, Punk had a lot to say during the scrum when he dismissed speculation that he had something to do with Colt Cabana not being used on AEW television and going to the ROH promo. He also knocked Hangman Page for his promo for their Double or Nothing match.

Punk also said the EPPs have been spreading lies about him through the media.
It was said that a few of the AEW talents were told that some very important names were “pissed and threatening to run away”. It was confirmed that the names targeted by Punk were The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega.
